Alice is a Certified Music Therapist, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), and Masters-level intern here at Shine Music and Therapy Services. Alice holds a bachelor degree in Music Therapy from Wilfrid Laurier University and is in the final stages of obtaining her Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology degree from Yorkville University.

Alice brings a compassionate, client-centered approach to her work, grounded in empathy, authenticity, and the therapeutic relationship. She has experience supporting a wide range of clients, including older adults, children, and adolescents, as well as individuals living with dementia, those navigating grief and life transitions, and neurodivergent individuals. 

Her approach often draws from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT). 

Alice is committed to creating an inclusive, affirming space for all clients and has a particular interest in working with LGBTQ+ communities, offering queer-affirming therapy that honours each person’s identity and lived experience.
